New Entry level BMW...only $300 new! learning, version, another, getting

I can think of a few users on this board who might be better off getting this sweet ride:
BMW launched another new model this week, a freshened version of its Kids' Bike. Targeted at the 2 1/2 to 6 year-old BMW demographic, the bike has easily removable pedals so that kids learning to ride can keep their feet on the ground and use it as a push-bike. Once the child is comfortable with balancing and stopping the baby beemer, mom or dad can add the pedals.

The blue and grey two-wheeler is certainly priced like a BMW - at $300.

.Will be outrageous. Lube chain, alignment, test drive=$300. Buffy and Tara will have to have one.

.My daughter will get this one.  A relative bargain at $425.

.Who in the hell would pay $300.00 for that? You can go to walmart or target and get a small kids bike for well under $100.00. And the snob who wont go to the dept store, can go to a real bike shop and get a giant or a trek for under $150.00. Whats next from BMW? $900.00 push mowers?

.If I was Brad Pitt or Paul McCartney, I don't see why I would buy a bike at WalMart, unless I could fly to the shop with my personal Jet Pack.
