aiight guys... give me some ideas on what to do with my visors, getting them black most defintley... they stick out like a sore thumb. everything on my truck is black... or just about everything. im trying to stay away from words, only b/c i feel that, that might get old after a while.. maybe some kind of pattern(spider web?, or maybe quot;duragoquot;spelled in black?) in the stitching? a symbol of some sort? who is the guy that does everyones visors on here?
.why not just cover them in black to match the headliner?
.Send them to Darren.... www.sidewindercustoms.com

.i took my visors apart myself, made new cardboard inserts with some posterboard from walmart, a little thicker than the stuff in there. just traced out the old stuff on the posterboard. baught a hot glue gun while i was there for 4 dollars. layed the traced out posterboard over headliner material with about a 3/4 inch seam all the way around, and simply glued and folded, glued and folded... then sewed the seam as they were stock. i did them plain black to match my headliner and they look great. first one took about an hour, second one took like 20-30 minutes.

They only used the cardboard in the '97-'99 visors. The '00-up visors were made out of ABS plastic.

i sent you an email......
.This is black, matching the headliner, colorful, matching the owner, and is both text/symbol/art all-in-one. I think it is a perfect fit.Now go make a damn mod without asking everyone for their opinion in advance. You are one step shy of a poll for every move. What's next, do I add gas today or tomorrow?
LOL! J/K
