Hey guys looking at getting a integra Type R engine into my 5th gen, i was wondering if this is feasable and what kind of work/costs are involved.

this isnt a definate swap its just a few questions on how this is to be done and what is involved?

.Let's start with the 5grand or so (US$) you'll need for a ITR.

Then let's see if we can find one.

I don't know emissions laws in the UK so you're on your own there.

.well, it is feasable, but also very very costly....i have one in my 5th gen hatch

but i suck at tuning and like to cheat, so i bought the car that way

what parts will i need then?

engine, box brakes ect

.buy the complete motor swap for 5 grand or so.. comes with everything you need to get it running smoothly.. as for brakes, you will be going so fast, some rear discs may help but u dont need them.

and good luck finding an ITR...maybe a JDM B18C ITR but it's a lot harder to get a USDM B18C5 now. Not sure for EDM

yeah....but those ITR brakes all the way around sure are FUUUUNNNNNNN  although it sucks for me, because then when i drive anyone elses car, i end up stopping WAY past the stop line  i get a little TOO used to the ITR brakes

.How much more expensive is a k20a3 (which is the rsx type s one?)? thatd make you stand out, plus youd really be stepping into the next generation as far as swaps, plus ive seen some videos that prove that the swap is effective as hell.
