Who here knows what is normally the top speed with a B16 tranny 00 SI or delsol vtec. Example. At 8000rpms in 5th gear what speed are you guys with B16 trannys at or around??? If you don't have 8000rpms give me 7000rpms. I'm trying to figure out something cause I may get that tranny and sell my GSR tranny cause I love that ratio. Just don't like it for the Highway.
.I tihnk its like 140ish maybe 145.. The si has TIGHT gearing...
.dont sell ur gsr tranny.. i would keep that. its much better. also.. why would u need to go in 5th gear at 8k rpm. you will hardly in ur lifetime or the engines lifetime will even get to be at that speed. i dont really like the b16 tranny. in the 1/4 miles u end up being in 4 gear.

EXACTLY, unless you are running over 110mph in the 1/4.

GSR is close geared but yet still doesnt envolve having to go though gears as fast.. Having to keep shift hurts times... Why you think fast domestics go to 4speed autos. so go read up more on your gay ass turner mags
