93 Civic ex, battery light on prob :(

i just bought a 93 ex with a b18 in it. my prob is the batter light is on only when the key is not in the ignition or not in accessory or start. also the clock and radio wont hold memory once the key is removed. I do professional audio installs and nothing looks like its out of ordinary in the vehicle. i odnt know if it swap has anything to do with it either. any advice would help, since im stumped

.check the wiriing again and maybe the fuse for the backup went..check under the hood fuse box for the backup  fuse...

.ill check that, but i would think that if a fuse was bad, the clock or radio wouldnt work at all, not work but not hold anything.

.this was happening to me .. the backup fuse under the hood was blown .. try that.. radio still should work .. but not hold any memory in it.. but .. if thats not the problem i have no idea
