.Yes I do need the VSS wire for the vehicle dynamics, it also reduces lag on the navigation. I plan on using all the features of the N2.

.Thanks Robbie.

.I'm looking at buy this system.  Are you using it with an iPod per chance?

.Nah man, I'm not an Ipod fan, I have another mp3 player. But who needs and mp3 player when you can burn an mp3 dvd-r that holds 4.7gb and play it through this badboy?

.i have the n1 system... i love it... i can watch DVD while driving... the only thing thats bad about n2 is that when you are watching DVD and start driving, the dvd will shut off and it will pop up an error message or something... im not sure if they have gotten around to this feature yet, but i know in N1, u just need to ground the hand brake and your done...

if down the road u want ipod hooked up, i would just buy tha a/v cable from ipod and connect it to the a/v input of the n2 brain. i have that and i can watch dvd or listen to all of my mp3's in my ipod... you can also put an a/v switch so that you can just flip a switch between the ipod a/v or the ps2 and you dont have to disconnect the a/v lines on the brain, that is if you want to do this.

one tip too... make sure that the brain is installed flat on the floor, just like what it says on the image of the brain... dont install it sideways or other way or else the VSS wont work properly. enjoy the n2, i was gonna get this but the feature of not being able to watch while driving steered me away and onto n1... (to all: i dont drive while watching, i let my gf drive while i watch if she doesnt like what im watching or vise versa. so therefore, im safe on the road to myself and others.)

.I'm not an ipod fan either because of the way it makes you input your music.  We (wife and I) actually have a 40gb iRiver that we use in her Civic with a Pioneer headunit w/aux input; works great.  What got me excited about using an iPod w/ the N2 was that I might have the ability to browse through the artist/album/song lists via the touch screen.  I've got 41gb of MP3's that are just ripped CD's... I've got another 25gb in quot;singles, quot; so that wouldn't fit so well on a DVD.   As far as watching a DVD while driving, I'm not too woried about that... music is good enough for me.  How's the view on the LCD in bright sun?

.on these items can anyone tell me a rating from 1-10 as far as sound quality.  I am looking for crisp clean sound.
The front end speakers priced out $399.00
The rears priced out at $199.00
The amplifier  priced out at   $499.00
Note these are in a retail store not off ebay.  I am aware that ebay is a fraction of the cost.... but does niot offer a warranty other than manufactures.  The other problem is I do not know how to install myself..  so my wallet is about to get drained.

The last question quot; first questionquot;  Can a car computer bee hooked into the Pioner AVH-P5700  I cannot find anything on pioneer or the web to intergrate the too of them.JL XR650-CSi Front speakers  from : localhost/mobile.jlaudio.com/products_c...hp?comp_id=127

.Posted under wrong thread..

.Chris, under bright sun it looks good. I also dont care about watching dvds and driving. No big deal.

.watching dvd's while driving is an easy bypass in the n2.....and the vss can read fine no matter which way you mount it...the only reason you would have to mount it a particular way would be the accelerometer

.Can this wire be accessed from underneath or do you have to take the dash apart?
