Nitto Tire Quetions?? think

okay i have looked on carreview.com and looked at the opinions on nitto tires... and i just wanted to know what you guys think of them?? i have right now some yokohoma avid touring tires on my CRv ... but come this january im upgrading my rims to some 18's which i dont know what i want yet . but the set im looking at comes with some  Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance tires... i dont know if any of yoru guys have these. but just wondering what you guys thought... also these are the rims i am thinking about getting...

.nitto's are fine if ur looking to save some money. they didnt hold for me and i got into an accident with the wall yesterday. just dont try to make any quick turns with them

.Nittos are good tires..They just hav a shitty Treadwear rating..They are like 15k mile tires. The 555 are less from what I hear. They are pretty sticky.

But speed will dictate just how sticky they are.....DoubleOCivic .hint.

.thanks guys.. i was just thinking of getting the package.. but since i do want to buy 5 rims and tires.. for the spare on my trunk.. i might as well spend some more money .. what tire do you guys reccomend?

.ummmmmmmmmm lets seeee....i wanna know that too..i'm lookin to get four new different kind of tires when my car gets out the shop....anyone recomend any...good ones better than nitto but won't burn a hole in my pocket?

I've always loved the Enkeis. I'm talking about the tires.

.Kumho Exsta Supra 712's are going for $66 each right know. Thats a 205/40WR/17 at that price.

Considering that its a CR-V. I would invest in Ultra High Performance tires. i would get som All-Seasons. Like teh Kumho ASX..Unless you dont hav eto worry about snow. Then get the 712's. YOu will be very happy.

.i love falken rubber holds great and last a while as well i know the 512's are a 30,000 mile tire. i have them on my civic. id get what suits your pocket and your taste tires will always be a biased subjuect one brand someone might like then another someone else wont like. go wit your gut or what you like about a particular tire
