do i need a bit writer to install a DEI/remote start/window

i currently have a clifford matrix 10.5 installed. so to get full use out of this alarm i purchased a 561t(remote start), 556uw(remote start interface for the chip in the key) and 2 530t(window up/down module). Installing the parts wont be that difficult for me. But my question is am i going to have to take it to an alarm place to have them use the bit-writer to program anything? Or can every thing be done from home? thanks for your help.

.um...i don't think so....well at the same time, i don't know what a bit writer is nor do we use it when we install remote start
