shift kits valve, everyone, problems, cheaper, garage

I have been researching shift kits for my 4.7 dak. Been to 4 shops and 1 guys garage, everyone seems to have mixed feelings about this. The one thing they all say is that you can do things with the valve that is probably more stable and cheaper. Saying these after market shift kits have inferior parts, that will break down , within a year or two. So any thoughts.

.I've had mine in for 2 years now and race mine all the time and havn't had any problems. I have the trans go kit too

.Noobie question.... but how hard are these to install.
