92-95, whats the diff 3dr vs. 2/4dr

So what is the difference?  I may be getting a 95 4dr to fix up and sell.  I'm looking at things like corners lenses, fenders, front bumpers, etc.  I was hit or hit something on the front passenger side.  So what are all the differences?

.headlights themselves are the same for 2/3/4dr, and that basically it for the front. corners, bumper, fenders, and hood are same for 2/3dr but different on the 4dr, so make sure you get everything specific for the 4dr or the fit will be off. if you are willing to do work, 2/3dr bumpers suposedly can be put on a 4dr, but how much work i am unsure of.

.A local import salvage yard here told me all 5g front bumpers are interchangable... so maybe its true, maybe he lied to me... but the 4door bumper is ugly.

.ive gotten a 2dr bumper on a 4dr before.. its difficult and required some fabricating and some modifications.

I test drove a four door with a 2/3 door bumper.  It looks good except for the edges.  They don't perfectly match up with the fenders.  The bumper definetly looks better.  Maybe if you got some mesh in the 4 door bumper it will look better.

.far as i know the only difference is that the fender on a 4 dr is shorter than the 2/3 dr and the doors are different smaller

The hatch and the sedan only share the same main headlight.. everything else (bumpers, fenders, etc) is different between the two... but the coupe is sortof a mixture... the coupe shares the same front end as the hatch (bumpers, fenders, etc) but shares the same exhaust and taillights as the sedan.. theres the independent hatch, the independent sedan, and the fvcked up mixture of a coupe.. so in conclusion, all that can be shared front end-wise between the hatch/coupe and the sedan, is the main headlight.. its like this..

FRONT END

Hatch = Coupe
Coupe = Hatch
Sedan = NothingREAR/EXHAUST

Coupe = Sedan
Sedan = Coupe
Hatch = Nothing

SIDESKIRTS

Hatch = Nothing
Coupe = Nothing
Sedan = Nothing

(All side skirts are different for all body styles, unless modified to fit)

Everything CAN be interchangable if you are willing to perform some modification.. some work being more than others...

.Haha, strange thing I found out, 1g Neon sideskirts fit almost perfectly on 5g coupes. STRANGE. Friend with a 5g coupe was helping a friend with a 1g Neon put body kit in, jokingly tried to put on Civic, FIT PERFECTLY.

.ya 4drs are a lil bit wider than the 2/3drs. the bumper on my car is a 2/3dr bumper. doesn't fit perfect (i'm not much of a body work man) but doesn't look too bad. not really noticeable unless way up close. just dont give them enough time to stare . . . . speed off! haha

.How much longer or shorter is the hatch's skirts compared to the coupes?  My friend wants to buy my Wings West RS Skirts and I would like to know asap.  Thanks.  I'm making another thread so i can get responses faster...

.My friend put a 2/3dr front end on his 4dr.  Looks nice but will cost you some money.  You have to change the fenders, hood, and front bumper.  I know a place in elk grove village here in IL but I got to find the place.  Hit me up if you need the #. Good luck!

.wouldnt you juss rather do it yourself ? how hard is it to unbolt fenders and a hood and a bumper.. ??
