passenger side airbag removal

when I bought my car the detailer drenched the interior of my of my car with armor all, I managed to get it all off except down in the crevice of the airbag, and now it seeps out a few days after I clean it, I need to know how to take the airbag out to clean all  that crap out. thanks for any help

.try hitting something at about 45 with a friend in the passenger seat, should get ya where you need to be

.You cannot remove it without screwing with the electrical components, and it's nearly impossible to remove the plastics intact. Trust me. lol you're worried about armor all.

use a compressed air can, they kind you use to clean your computer keyboards.. sold at walmart for like 3 bucks.... should get that out.

.I second the compressed air idea.

Messing with the airbag if you are not trained to do it is stupid and could conceivably get someone killed; either you or with you if you trigger it when you are working on it, or later if you don't get it properly reinstalled it might fail to go off when needed and not save someone who needed it.

Also, the '02 service manual states:

quot;Do not allow oil, grease or water to come in contact with the front passenger air bag module.quot;

Taking this in to consideration, I am concerned that the armor-all may have possibly damaged the air bag module.  I don't know nearly enought about the situation to be able to judge.  I would think that you should contact Nissan Customer Service and ask them what they advise; this may be something that dealer should take care of for you.  There is a possiblity that if you call directly to the dealer first that they will dismiss the issue to avoid the time and expense of them having to replace the air bag.  Nissan corporate will probably be much more concered about your safety than the service manager at the dealer.

Good Luck

.in situations liek this ive used a Q-tip dabbed in rubbing alcohol and then making the q-tip shaped into a pointy head.
