4x2 CC 4.7/NV3500 exist?

Does anybody know if Mopar ever made a RWD only 3rd gen CC Dakota with an NV3500?

.I have one... a 2003.

.Ditto here!  Mine is 2002.
Two piece driveshaft with carrier bearing in the middle cross member.

Nope, it's a 2 piece driveshaft.

.Mine is an '01 Sport Plus. Next question, what axle did yours come with? Mine is a 9.25quot;, 3.55 Sure-Grip, with the small drums.

P.S.: That NV3500 is a piece of crap, by the way. Almost designed to lose second gear by 50K.

Almost designed to lose second gear by 50K.I have the 9.25 with 3.55 LSD (sure-grip), with 4 wheel disc brakes.  The nv3500 has done quite well for me, and I have over 200 passes down the 1/4 mile track on my tranny.  I put a hurst short throw shifter on it, and changed the oil at around 40k.  I now have a little under 74k miles and it runs like a champ.

p.s. - I also have plenty of engine mods that have put much more power through the tranny as compared to stock.

That's good to hear. I've been kinda worried about mine at the track. How hard are you launching and shifting? I'm chirping the tires pretty good on my 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.

I launch at only like 2800... but I'm sure when I chrip 3rd it's putting quite a bit of strain on the tranny at whatever rpm the motor goes down to while switching gears *shrugs*
