I use the PB Blaster thread penetrant every time I remove bolts on the truck. Great product. Frees up just about anything you encounter. Even exhaust bolts. For the exhaust pieces I use the penetrant daily for a week or so before trying to remove the bolts. Never had any issues. Highly recommended.
For exhaust bolts I always try to use a high torque impact wrench. It makes it easier. I also use a manual impact wrench (one that you hit with a hammer to generate rotation) where an impact gun won't fit. This combination loosens up anything I have encountered on the truck.
.I can do you one betta!
.PB jizz.... a gift from the automotive gods
.I like calling it Pee Pee Blaster, cause it almost looks like pee.

I think you should get that checked out if your pee looks like that . But, Ill take your PB Blaster and raise you Mousemilk www.mousemilk.com. It is pretty common in the aviation industry but works wonders on rust, galling, etc. I haven't touched a can of PB in two years since getting a bottle of this.
.Yeah, PB is great stuff! Better than that even is Aero-Kroil. There's another version called Aero-(something) can't remember the name though. That stuff works awesome, kind of pricey but worth every penny. Added bonus, it smells really good too! Think it's like $20 for a 19oz can and I will gladly pay it for something that works that good.
.terrific stuff. we use it at the ag parts yard where i work to free up parts like axle wedges that prolly haven't moved in years. well. PB and a 1quot; impact gun, lol
.I use a blowtorch to loosen up bolts, when I'm working with something that can handle a little heat.
.+10 on Kroil. fantastic stuff.
The PB is pretty good, though.

I've used the Kroil a few times. I was working in a shop amp; my shop manager showed me this stuff. His most important words were, quot;Be sparing of that. It cost $10 per can.quot; And I was. But, obviously, PB Blaster wins the best bang for the buck category. |
