SES Light only on High speed Accerlation

I had the SES light come on about a month ago and I did the pedal test to get the code, which came out to 0330..I reset the light..and now for the past 2 weeks..every time I hit the gas hard, the SES lights comes flashing ....flashes 4-5 times and then disappears...

I suspect it might be something with the spark plugs...

Anyone out here experienced something similar ?

Actually, it is cyclinder 3 miss fire.........could be a number or things, but I'd pull the #3 plug and look at if first to see if it is barked up or the gap is closed down, signs of having ingested something like a butter fly screw or some pre cat debris...................

I know this may sound silly, but you sure that's not the washer fluid light flashing?  It's also yellow and sits right next to the SES light so it's often mistaken for the SES light.

SES lights usually flash when there is a misfires because it is a critical code.  Whenever you get a flashing SES light you really shouldn't be driving the car until it is fixed.

Check those butterfly screws.

.flashing MIL mean catalyst damaging misfire. most likely an ignition problem, leaving the fuel to go straight to the exhaust and saturate the cat. and burn it up
