Ebay Viper seats.

Not terrible, just ranting...
So I check out ebay every so often for Gen3 Viper seats for my dak. Found a set for $700 and the guy had them for quot;free shippingquot;. They are off a 2004 and only have 10k miles on them. Damn good deal IMO.
I noticed he is from quot;city of the sunquot;. I figured it was somewhere in AZ. I sent him a message asking him where he was located, requested more photo's, and if he would give me a small break on shipping if I picked them up and skipped shipping. (My dad will be there next week)

The guy sends me quot

hoenix, AZquot; and that was it. I did some research and found out the guy is in Peoria AZ. SAME city my aunt lives and where my dad is headed!!
Well, not wanting anyone else to jump on this deal, I decided to choose the option of BUY NOW for $700/free shipping.
I send the guy another message seeing if he would be interested in giving me a small break if I had my cousin pick up the seats so he doesn't have to spend anything on shipping or worry about it.
He sends me this;
We will be happy to drop off the seats to your aunts but 700.00 was the deal we have the cheapest price on Ebay for this item, The seats are excellent condition for the limited use they have had they came out a 10k car. There is a listing for 1500.00 for the same item so what do you what to do? I have a local guy who also saw the ad and is willing to give us 900.00 let me know. Thanks.

So I said screw it!... Sent him a polite message saying he can ship the seats since that would be easier for him. He relpied saying he would send me a tracking number today.
Well, I got this message today...
Just got back to the office and one of the girls cut the drivers seat when she was packing it. Do you want me to send the pass for $350 or a full refund? We have a new car coming in in a few weeks its on its way here from Texas! Sorry about the the screw up can't find good help! Please let me know!I just have a hunch the guy is fucking with me
He already confirmed my paypal payment (only currency he takes) ..so if i get a refund, I'm going to have a 3%plus loss for his mistake.(unless he gives me more than 700)
From the address I got after purchasing, he is literally 3-4 blocks away from my aunts house!

Well, I sent him a message just now asking to see a picture of the cut. Can't wait for his responce

I guess good deals always come with a catch

And if you read this scott, and are anywhere near 83rd and Lake pleasant (North west of loop 101) let me know

The night I was going to buy them...I was staring at the page debating it and hit refresh, and it said the auction had ended. I just had a feeling another R/T guy grabbed them and almost posted up here to ask.

That was a really good deal. Something just seemed weird when he couldn't get me any more pictures. I mean come on, the one picture he had listed on the site was garbage as for showing detail, so it wasn't an obscure request.

Sorry to hear you might miss out on that deal. I think we both know the out come of asking him for a legit picture of the cut seat. How the hell do you cut the seat while PACKING it?!

Been peeping those same seats...I saw the free shipping and figured it was too cheap so I didn't bother with them! I guess I shoulda bought them and gave him the shaft and cancel my credit card payment once I got them!

2) just asked for pics cause I forgot the first time
3) if i could pick them up cause i noticed he was in AZ.

I looked up the address and got a street in front of Sunrise mountain HS. where both my cousins went. No building. But also typed in the address on google and it stated there is an actual real estate company with that address.

Waiting to hear some lame excuse, and or get my money back...otherwise, i'm skipping work and riding shotgun with my dad to AZ

any time you gte refunded you get the % of the fees back, if u get 50% back u get 50% of the fees back. 100%? you get all back.

.Make him knock off some money for the cut and just get the seat repaired.. if he wont do that make sure you get all 700 back or report him to ebay and paypal... there no way some chick cut the seat bad enough it cant be fixed...

.Someone offered more $... duh...
