help with my headlight conversion

ok so i HAD the s14 conversion on a 98 civic till i hti a tree that happened to be layin out in the middle of the road in the middle of the nite. it took out the front end conversion of my car, good news is that i had new fenders bumper and hood on the way from a previous wreck but now the s14 headlights r shot and i need a new set. my question boils down to this is the s14 headlights the exact same as the 97-98 special edition 240 sx. if ur not a hundred 100% on ur answer please say so cuz the us spec headlights r like 300 bucks cheaper for me to get, i called the nissan dealerships around pittsburgh and they dont really know and i called gtp and they said they think they are pretty much the same headlights. if no one knows for sure please point me in the rite direction maybe some 240 forums or somethin. thanks

.to tell you the truth, I wanna say yes but i'm not 100% sure.. I can ask for you on 240sxforums.com and give u a definate answer within a couple days... i'll take a flamming for u

.Yes, the Kouki S14 (97-98 240sx) headlights are exactly the same as the S14 headlights....  Whethere SE or not makes no difference...  The only difference in SE or non-SE is 5 lug hubs or so.....

Trust me, I have been researching a lot on S14s lately....  

.if you cant find an answer your best bet it to buy them and make sure you can exchange them for the Full money back ( JUST IN CASE ) but im pretty sure they are the same

ah i see... the only thing that made me wonder was if the wiring was different or anything because for the s13 tails, if u get kouki or the US ones, u have to change the connector or something like that

.well  thanks  for  ur help  guys  just let me know im  not worried bout the wiring if its different cuz its  all custom wiring anyway but the  big  thing  was if the us specs were glass like the jdms. update on t he situation no body shop want to touch my car so they might just  total it cuz of the damage and  cost off parts  so i might have to git another car been thinkin  bout  a gsr if it comes down to it
