you sure it's the BEST amp?
cuz i'd have to dissagree with you there
.there are no best amps. One amp that works perfectly in one application may not work well in another.without specifying how much you plan to spend, it is a mute discussion. What's the impedence of the sub?

try a McIntosh...... it makes rf look like pyramind.
of course, their amps are about $2 per watt.... but they're well worth it
i have a 2 channel 500watt amp sitting in my house un opened.... waiting for my next carold rf gt; new rf
i'd get on ebay and look for an oldschool rf shield style amp. there is 2 series, the a series (400a2) and the . series (400.2) the quot;.quot; series has almost twice the output. look for an old 500.2, bridge that badboy and pound away

im sorry but a $200 system is either...
1. going to sound like absolute crap. which is lowest form of crap. (like absolute zero)
2. going to blow extremely easy. which will result in #1.

McIntosh fucking rocks. You should see the amp rack that the Tom, the owner of Mobile Dynamics has in his Porsche 911. If you guys get Car Audio magazine, it should be in the next issue. You guys know who Alma Gates is right? Her first competition SPL Bronco was built by Pretty Panel (PPG). His name is Rick and I see him every day usually and his name still slips my mind. Anyway, he was the one who put together this car and did one hell of a custom integrated install using McIntosh equipment.
