No Start

ok so i was driving home and my speedo dropped to 0 and MIL came on, drove home ok, switched car off, tryed to re-start my car but it wouldn't, i get CEL code 5, MAP Sensor, but i heard this wouldn't stop a car from starting, the car turns over but doesn't fire, i have spark and i know fuel is getting to the fuel rail, anyways so i towed it to a garage, been in there 4 days and they cant find a thing wrong with it, telling me i should get a new ECU just to quot;tryquot; it, see if thats the problem, but it seems like an expensive try. any ideas?

.check your ignition coil and fuses.

.so you have spark and you have fuel?  could be your mass airflow sensor
