Hey guys i was was wondering if a D16z6 will bolt to a 4th gen tranny.... Can anyone help?

.any d series trany will fit a d series engine

.Sweeet thanks i just picked up a A6 for $50 lol runs fine only 50K on th engine

.So will a D15 flywheel bold onto a D16?

.you'll need to do a hyrdo conversion if you run that tranny on a 4th gen.

.crap ace, i think we got it backwards...he already has the tranny from his 4th gen, and is getting the motor.  I am going back to say it bolts up.

keep ur tanny, put ur actual d mounts on the d16z6 and ur done
