Full Coilover system shock changes

so, I was wondeing when you buy full coilover systems like TIEN basics and SS, what happens when the shocks wear out???...do you have to buy whole coilovers or can you just switch out the shocks..and if you can just switch out the shocks, do you have to replace them with TIEN shocks...thanks

.teins are rebuildable, i assume you have to send them back for that

.yea...send em back to tein to get them rebuilt, most companies have a pretty good rebuild policy if you blow their shocks....

.different companies charge differnt amounts...im not totally sure, but for some reason im thinkin teins rebuild service is somewhere around 500...and you send all four coils to them, and im almost sure you get 4 new shocks, basically a new set up.  no clue how long itd take tho.
