Yeah, so I've been taking some videos of myself to and from school.  My cousin shoots.  I drive.
Please take note, however, that my cousin is 280lbs, though.  Kinda slows down my pace a little.

This clip is of a 0-70 launch up Southern Blvd. in the Bronx.  It's kind of a hill, and it's kind of a gradual curve.
I'd say I took it rather nicely.

However, notice how my auto is timed.  I'll get a better video soon that displays it in true performance, but for now, tell me what you all think.  My rpm range is pretty nasty.   
It's time with what I like to call quot;punch timingquot; - (at the peak of one gear, let off, tranny shifts, and punch the new rpm range of the following gear)

yeah, well, i took that curve pretty carefully at 30mph
it's too gradual, and the left lane has a horrible dip in it right before the straightaway

i can understand your displeasure.

the way that my car is timed, it drives really hard to the top of each gear, and my revlimiter is reset
so unless i want to drive down 7k rpms in second, i have to let up around 6.5k, let off the gas, it shifts, and there i go - next gear

so, the shift light goes off around 6 - i use it.
so yes, im serious.

Nah, see, I think I know what you're talking about, because a friend of mine did the same thing as well.
I don't shift through the D options, like 2, D3, or D4.
It's just that my car is timed really well.  My dad did all the work w. me, and the guy knows his cars.
