chainsaw noise on start up

so i have a remote start.  i primarily use i opposed to the key b/c i guess the ECU doesnt recognize the key sometimes and shuts off the car soon after i start it.  anyway, when i use the remote start, it sometimes starts/runs and makes a chainsaw noise then shuts off.  is this the stater? is this something i should worry about?

.possibly, but if your ECU is not recognizing the key then you need to get that fixed before it leads to other problems
