So here is the deal. My audio system in the truck is all stock. What happens is after while the headunit shuts off. I still get sound out of the speakers but can not control the volume, change stations, change tracks on the cd, can not change anything. The display is off but the lights on the bass and treble control are on. Is the headunit shot? Should I get a new one?
.Sound's like the stock unit is going into protection for some reason. Have it cleaned and try it again if it continue's then you might need to find a stock replacement or a basic aftermarket unit. |
