MY Restore

Hey everyone, been away fromt he site a while. Been at school haven't had a chance to get to the computer. For those of you who don't know my 98 Ex was trashed well over a year ago. Well now that I'm at school for custom autobody, I've got a chance to rebuild the whole body of the car. Just wanted to start a thread so that when I post pics, which should be a few days from now, you guys aren't like, WTF? To give an update, the car came in Friday, we ripped all the trashed internals out, sanded the clearcoat, took the side mouldings, rain gutters, and tail lights out. By the time I post pics, all the internals should be in and then it's just a matter of waiting for the body parts and shaving the rest of what needs to be shaved. Here's a list of the plan for the body:

Buddy Club Urethane Full Kit
Invader Carbon Fiber Hood
F1 Fiberglass Fenders
Angel Eye Projector Headlights
Mugen Carbon Fiber Rear Wing
Si Quarter Panel Tail Lights
Shaved Side Mouldings, Rain Gutters, Inner Tail Lights

The paint scheme and the engine plans are still in the works and neither of them will be listed until the pics are posted. I'm gonna update on a weekly basis so u guys can see the progress. I'm sure there are gonna be plenty of flamers, but as you all know, it's MY car, and I'm doing what I want to do. Hope you guys will like when I start to post pics.

.Welcome back!  Everyone is mostly asleep.    Sorry.

I like the part about shaving the gutters.  I want to remove the rubber from mine and have them left as painted indentations as they are on alot of newer cars.  I guess that will happen with the antenna being shaved one day.  *sigh*

Oh, and think about where your new reverse lights are going to be too (and try to make them still blend with the car).  Sorry, but shaving the inner taillights is always something I didn't like at all.

.i've actually decided i'm going to drill into the outer tail and put the reverse in that way.

.yo bro what ever you do the car will look good in your standards but until i see the car who knows but anyways not to flame on you but good luck on the ride and i hope everything turns out the way you want it to be
