Anyone using a 4 point harness or any other type with stock seats?

.i think there was one but nonstock seats, Wraith's truck is the one.!

.i seen this 4 point that is specifically for our type of seat....

my seats have been re-upolstered but it is tye stock frame

.I haven't seen anyone use a 4 point with stock seats.

.im just trying to picture how it would work with the stock seats if at all.  Unless u cut hole in seat and reinforce with plastic piece in cut out.

.I thought that to properly mount shoulder restrains like on a 4 or 5 point system, they needed to be anchored at or above shoulder level requiring a roll bar be added--if mounted on the floor it could cause back injuries because your body moving forward against the harness would actually pull down on your shoulders as the buckle is pulled forward?

is that an NHRA/IHRA rule, or just a general safety tip that's not enforced by anyone?

.huh, looks like it would be lil bit uncomftable for us bigger guys because wheni had my wrangler i shoulders are too close to where it slides over top.

the belts do look narrow.....

i have a busted belt retractor...and DO NOT want to remove the fiberglass panels I just installed....siliconed the panel ring to the enclosure ring.

I thought I'd just cut the stocks out and use these, I never wear em.....just in case of a traffic stop

.Yup, I'm running a 4-point harness with a harness bar and Corbeau CR1 seats. As Cuda said you would need a roll bar, harness bar, or mount the belts to the back wall to have a proper install that won't flex your back in an accident.

.I have 4 pt harnesses in my truck and I mounted them to the back wall, where the car seat loops are.

.these don't require a bar.....did you look at the link?

the loop around the seat top has a Y coming off it wit a single point attachment to the floor . you cant get a bolt down tab or use an eye bolt and a quick release, so you an tilt the seat back forward.

i may buy one and try it to see if it's comfortable...
