2002 4.7L H/O intake manifold for sale... $200.00
Im selling my 2002 4.7L H/O intake manifold for 200.00 + shipping. I normally sell them for 275.00 shipped. So its already marked down. These are hard to come by and are no longer made or can be had new.
With this intake manifold I was able to run 9.49 in the 1/8 mile... While we all know I had more mods at the time and the intake was not solely responsible for the 9.49 run, it was part of the total package. As always... one of my tricks was to completely insulate the bottom half of the manifold... I feel it did give me an edge over those who did not.
This intake is a bolt on replacement intake for the 1999-2007 4.7L engine.
If you have a 1999-2002 4.7L then this would be considered an upgrade intake. If you have a 2003-2007 intake then I would not swap for this intake as they are comparable in performance although the H/O intake would make slightly more HP... but not enough to justify the cost. 5HP more tops.

.What is the insulation material that you used?
.Thats my secret...
Its the same material we used on our AIR RAM INDUCTION SYSTEMS... but it was professionally wrapped..... by ME.

Unsure how old you are but this commercial is embedded in my memory of my youth.
.looking to swap my original 2002 intake do you still have this intake? how exactly is it better than the original 2002. i have been reading about swapping ours with the 2008 intake which route is more beneficial for power, although the 08 intake requires an adapter does this one need the same adapter or will it bolt straight on? This 2002 H/O intake was sold a long time ago...
At this time we have one USED 2008 Intake that I had on my 4.7L for only 3 weeks amp; one used 2003-2007 intake. The 2003-2007 Intake will be a direct bolt on with no need for adapter plates... the 2008 intake will need throttle body adapter plates.

.well Ok so of the two which would benefit our truck the most? If its the 2008, do you have or know how I can get the adapter and at what price? how much better are both of these compared to what came with my 4.7 in 02? lastly what is the bottom line for the choices, I am interested in upgrading this new engine. With 158,000 and change it recently (christmas morning) jumped time I was told there was extensive damage and would spend the same amount rebuilding compared to a replacement,,, any way I looked at Jaspers and say they have a 3 year 100,000 warranty and corrected the foul ups of Chrysler in the process,,,,, any way this is the first major mechanical failure since we have had the truck it had 28000 back then and I really love it. I feel so badly I have worked hard taking care of it never missing an oil change and have drained and flushed all fluids regularly, it doesn’t make sense to me but what can I do..
