Just hit 60000 miles

Today is a sad day. Passed the 60000 mile mark today on my way to work. Kinda scary. No more warrenty, and on the original motor on an early  build. Wish me luck  

.Just one word will give you peace of mind:

MAINTENANCE

You keep that up and you should be fine.

.nice.. its good to hear the se-r holding up till 60k miles lol (jk).  Right now my car has 20k miles and no problems so far (knock on wood).

.I got my 1.8s in September.  Im just about at 5500miles.  I opted for the extended 100k mile bumper to bumper though.  

We'll see if it pays off.  

.I know how you feel; my 02 Spec V is at 73K (I bought it used with 70K on it).  I am now wishing that I'd purchased the extended warranty package offered by the dealer because the fuel pump just died and I found out too late (after the 2 months of warranty the dealer gave me) that the exhaust manifold was cracked when I bought it.  Oh, well, I still love my Spec V...  

.My Spec V just passed 60k miles last week.  Of course, I'm coming out of the powertrain warranty with a bang and getting a new engine from Nissan.  

I'm pretty much stuck with the thing now, though....so I'm hoping it will be like a brand new car.  Which would be kind of nice since I bought the car used...it'll be nice to be able to control the break-in and know where the engine has been.  I got that luxury with the transmission when they replaced it at 34k.

.I have 64K on the SE and I have  a little over 2 years on the extended warranty.  I may not break even, but its great peace of mind.  I'm about 500 bucks down on it. Hmmm...the tranny is weak..who knows.
