Bought an 03 Dakota for 600$ him, because, wanting, nobody

pretty excited abbout this. iv been wanting to get a dak pretty cheep and make it go vroom.

I found a guy in orlando who was parting out an 03 dakota slt cc but nobody would bite. So i called him and sked how much he wanted for the whole thing after abbout 20 mins i got him down to 600$

so cheep because it has no motor due to a small fire. i looked the front over no real damage just sooty and has a few melted wires but i dont need the motor and a new wiring harness isnt hard to find.

Iv got a few options:

custom swap for a 545 BBC
5.7 swap

orrrr
somthing iv been wanting to do for soo long
make it a prerunner - pretty shure this would be the most costly path.

.honestly all i was looking for were spare parts for my dak its at 130K and then i stumbled on that dak

.great find..i make like one a week...just dont have the cash to buy em and fix em.

If i could get some start up cash i could be buying em fixin them and sellin em for more..Good luck with the project.

I have a feeling im going to strip it out and make a toy i can take to the drag strip or track days in daytona.

.Since the wiring is already shot, I'd strip it down and go with a carb'd BB (Mopar tho, don't put Chebby crap in a Dak lol).   

You could do a 543 with a factory 440 block, or go 572 with an aftermarket block:

but at the moment iv got 2 454's and 2 5.7 Hemi's im trying to get rid of the 454's and possibly 1 5.7 but if i get rid of all of them and chip in a lil cash on the side i could get used viper v10 and tranny.

if this was a while back i probably would have tried to buy one of the 5.7's

im pissed but it wasnt all bad they guy next door got a shitty deal. the fire damaga was a little worse than i thought apparently firewalls dont do shit it was melted along with the dash the frame was cracked also probly from the FD spraying it with water on I4.

so im pissed but im glad i didnt get myself into that money hole.

.now what to do with all these freeking motors!

do think a golf cart could be hemified?
