Removing Dash

After I hit a deer and my windshield busted up glass went inside my dashboard and every turn I make I can here that shit sliding around, it very annoying.  I also have a a/c leak under my dash so I figured this would be a good time to fix it all.  How hard is it to remove the dash?  Should I be able to do this in a few hours or would it take longer?

.Shouldn't be longer then 2 hours to completely remove it. I just swapped out my head unit and switched my gauges to led's and it was very simple. I took a bunch of pictures to start a write-up on how to remove it. Never finished, now that I'm out of work on an injury maybe I will finish it lol.

you took the entire dash out to do a deck and LEDs?...anyway, it's pretty straight forward, just start taking everything that will unbolt/unscrew along the bottom.....couple of big bolts on each side, bottom center, and then the ones by the vents.....hardest part is getting all the grounds and various wiring plugs...might want to grab a buddy for help getting it all out..it's probably close to 80lbs and awkward to lift...OR....assuming the glass went through the defrost vents.....look up from under the drivers side......you should be able to see a piece of black flexible tube..looks kinda like flex loom...this connects the defrost output on the actual HVAC unit(bolted to the fire wall) to the upper dash vents......if you're lucky, you could get this disconnected and hit it with a shop vac........

AND......

if you have the cash, you might consider just swapping the heater core while you're in there, 'cause sooner or later, on these trucks, it's gonna leak.

.No lol, but a good amount of it. Judging by how long it took me, the rest of it shouldn't be much longer is what I was getting at.
